Join me in my efforts to support Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation!

Join me as I compete against 38 of the best athletes from around the globe in the longest and most competitive hand bike race in the world. 8 days, across 267 miles and more than 16,000 feet of elevation gain on a new brutal route through alaska.

For the 25th anniversary of the race they have carved a new route for the race that they describe as "way more climbing, way more Alaskan, way more difficult, way more scenery." (I must like the pain!)

About Me: In September of 1997 at 26 yrs old I was in an automobile accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down. I was a very active guy at the time - I had moved out west a couple of years before the accident from Upstate NY to play in the mountains. An avid skier, mountaineer and cyclist prior to the accident Iíve continued to do many of these things albeit in a different fashion. Since that life changing moment, Iíve focused on what I can do and made the most of life. Cycling, more specifically handcycling, has became my true calling.

Check out info on the race here http://www.sadlersakchallenge.org/
